News of Events in June & July 2017
Oswestry 17th. And 18th. July.
Two members, one former member and a MeccaNoid attended this event. Quite a few Plastic Meccano models were built but not as many as last year. There are pictures of some of them below as well ones of the Metal Meccano models.
Skegness 24th. & 25th. June.
Several members went to this event, the year’s major Meccano Exhibition attracting Meccano enthusiasts from all over the world. Chris. Harris took some photographs which appear below and made a video. The link is:
Smallwood Vintage Rally, 27th. -
Two members attended this event. In spite of being rather cramped, our models had a lot of interest. A fair number of Plastic Meccano Models were made. As well as the Model & Craft Tent, there was a large number of useful stalls and, as might be expected from an event near Sandbach, an impressive range of commercial vehicles.
