This was held as usual at the Methodist Hall in Leyland. Approximately 25 members

An auction was held of purchased and donated Meccano. A very useful contribution was made to Guild funds. Roger Marsh made a generous bid for the left overs. Hopefully .many of the parts will appear in models in future events.
Lancaster Fun Palace, 6th. & 7th. October 2017.
This event is held annually in the main library in Lancaster. On Saturday, we were in the Meeting Room but on Sunday we moved into the palatial main hall. We bought a few models for display, mostly for handle turning and button pressing as well as a large quantity of Plastic Meccano for model building. Numerous models were built, many innovative. Some are shown below.
